Service overview
Junk Huggers provides junk removal, hauling, and related services in the Bend, Oregon area. By requesting an estimate, scheduling a pickup, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms.

Estimates and pricing
Estimates provided by phone, photo, or website form are good-faith approximations based on the information provided. Final pricing is determined at the job site after the crew evaluates the actual volume, weight, access, and item types. We will tell you the final price before any work begins; you may decline at that point at no charge.

Scheduling and cancellation
Your booking request is received and shown as a receipt on screen — it is not confirmed until we confirm it. If valid SMS consent is already on file for that phone number and you have not opted out, later job updates such as confirmation, scheduling, arrival, and completion may arrive by text. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a service-call fee. Arrival windows are estimates and may shift based on prior jobs, traffic, or weather.

Items we cannot accept
For safety and regulatory reasons we cannot remove hazardous waste, biohazards, asbestos, paint, motor oil, propane tanks, or live ammunition. If we discover restricted items at pickup we will leave them and may complete the rest of the job. Contact us beforehand if you are unsure whether something is acceptable.

Payment
Payment is due at the completion of the job unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. For commercial accounts, terms may be arranged in advance.

Text-message communication
We enroll a phone number in recurring service-related text messages from Junk Huggers only when you check an optional SMS consent checkbox on one of our public request forms: the checkbox on our public Contact (/contact) form, or the checkbox on our photo estimate request form. Both checkboxes are unchecked by default, are never required to submit the form, and are never a condition of purchase — you can request and complete service by phone or email instead, with the checkbox left unchecked. Submitting either form with the box left unchecked does not enroll you in any recurring messaging. Booking does not collect new SMS consent. If you check the box on either public form, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your specific service request, including estimate follow-up, booking confirmations, scheduling and rescheduling, arrival ETAs and on-the-way notifications, job status updates, post-job follow-up, and customer support replies. Message frequency varies based on your active service request and is typically a small number of messages per job. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further text messages. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you text us first without having checked one of those website consent checkboxes, any reply we send to that conversation is not, by itself, enrollment in recurring service-related messaging.

Liability
Junk Huggers carries general liability insurance. We use reasonable care when removing items, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for items left on the property after pickup. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for that job.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute will be resolved in Deschutes County, Oregon.
